Nearly 500 Scientologists gathered in Budapest to mark the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.
Dedicated in July 2016, eu news channel the six-storey religious centre has become a centre for worship, education and community activities. The anniversary featured a religious service, live music, a photographic and video retrospective and a review of past achievements and future activities.
Over its first ten years, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
